- How much does the Summit Malibu treatment program cost?
There is no set price for treatment at Summit Malibu. Individuals who participate in our treatment program require varying levels of care, which are priced accordingly. - Will Summit Malibu accept my health insurance?
Summit Malibu is a private pay facility and does not directly accept any insurance plans. However, we staff a professional insurance coordinator who assists program participants in obtaining reimbursement for covered benefits under their existing insurance policies.
- What type of treatment does Summit Malibu offer?
Summit Malibu offers primary treatment for drug addiction, alcoholism, and dual diagnosis/co-occurring disorders for adults 18 and over. Our program is residential — participants live at our facility during treatment. Treatment modalities include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, Life skills Training, Relapse Prevention, Yoga, Spirituality Groups, and 12 Step Groups.
- How long does treatment at Summit Malibu last?
Due to the individual nature of addiction and alcoholism, there is no prescribed treatment stay. Most participants stay from 28 to 56 days, with many staying as long as 3 or more months.
- Can friends and family visit during treatment at Summit Malibu?
Yes. Not only are friends and family allowed to visit during treatment, but they are encouraged to do so. Summit Malibu makes a commitment to involve the client’s friends and family in the treatment process through our highly successful Comprehensive Family Weekend program.
- Where is Summit Malibu located?
Summit Malibu’s primary residential treatment facility is located on three acres of private land inside a private gated area of western Malibu, California. Facility tours are available on request.
